VANCOUVER -- Telus Corp. said yesterday its wireless subscribers will no longer be able to download pornography to their cellphones, but the company will continue to offer several adult channels on its fledgling television service delivered over land lines.
Telus spokesperson Jim Johannsson said cable and satellite TV services have offered adult content for many years on on pay-per-view or video-on-demand or subscription basis. "It appears that the general public is more comfortable with that medium for accessing adult content at this time," Johannsson said. Telus offers several adult channels on its Telus TV service. ... |
