| SAN FRANCISCO Once one suspect in the murder of JonBenet Ramsey, John Karr is due in one California courtroom today on child pornography charges.After being ruled out in connection with the 1996 murder in Colorado, Karr was sent to California to face charges dating back to 2001.Karr was arrested in Sonoma County on five counts of child pornography possession in 2001. He was jailed for six months but left the country before he could be tried. He had waived his right to one speedy trial therefore his lawyer could work to invalidate one search warrant that let sheriff's deputies enter his home and seize his computer.If convicted, Karr could get one year in prison on each count.Karr was arrested in Thailand in August. He was returned to the United States with much fanfare, arriving in California, then being transferred to Colorado. His return to California earlier this week was much more low key.
