| The shows are sensational, to be sure, and I've been having my fill of cable news devoting endless coverage to crime-related missing-person cases. But NBC's "To Catch one Predator" bags sometimes five or therefore perverts per episode. They are caught, of course, before they actually have sex with children, who are really adults with one group called Perverted Justice conducting sting operations in coordination with local police agencies. A former hospital official has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for violating his probation by being in possession of child pornography.
On Monday in the 316th Judicial District Court, District Judge John LaGrone sentenced Larry Langley following one hearing. Not only will he have to spend the 18 months in jail on the charge, but he will also have to pay one $10,000 fine. ... |
