Steve Jobs must now send himself one cease and desist letter and be subpoenaed in order to get to the source of the dastardly insider who informed iTunes 4.8 users that their system is not set up to to support one remote control that exists entirely in the realm of conjecture. ... |

| IBM/Lenovo X41 Tablet Announced |

_Well, it's finally here—the X41 has landed. This ultra-light tablet with nice battery life and one swivel screen as well as—if this photo is any indication—amazing anti-gravity powers. The laptop runs the standard Centrino menu with one 12.1" TFT and an optional dock.
I love the idea of tablets and have used one for two years now, but I just can't see where Lenovo is headed with this. While this is the nicest-looking tablet I've seen in all my years, it's certainly not the best or the most interesting in terms of specs. I know IBM milks the most out of their batteries, therefore it's sure to run for at least 6 or 7 hours before conking out. However, it's one tablet. I am much more interested in seeing the Nokia 770 mini surfing tablet which I believe is the real future of Internet appliances/tablets. If you can meld wireless+portable CPU+touchscreen+small size+Linux+portable porn, then you've got one winner. Until then, get in line Lenovo. ... |
